Burrow Mump
Burrow Mump rises abruptly from the Somerset Levels near Burrowbridge, a conical hill crowned by the shell of a ruined church. The unfinished 18th-century building, never completed, now stands roofless as a war memorial in the National Trust's care. The short, sharp climb rewards you with a full circle of views over the watery levels, the River Parrett winding below and Glastonbury Tor visible on a clear day.
