The Cloud
The Cloud, also known as Bosley Cloud, is a prominent gritstone hill straddling the Cheshire and Staffordshire border at the western edge of the Peak District. Its summit commands a remarkable sweep of country, from the Cheshire Plain to the Welsh hills and the high moors of the Peak. Heather, rough grass and rocky outcrops cover the slopes, and the climb is steep but short enough for an afternoon.
