Hayburn Wyke
Hayburn Wyke is a hidden bay on the coast north of Scarborough, where ancient woodland clings to the cliffs above a quiet pebble beach. A short but steep path drops through oak, ash and beech to the shore, where a small waterfall spills straight onto the rocks. The Jurassic cliffs here are rich in fossils, and the whole cove has a wild, away-from-it-all feel rare on this stretch of the North Sea.
