Greenway
Greenway was the holiday home of crime writer Agatha Christie, who described it as the loveliest place in the world. The house keeps the family's collections of china, books and curiosities much as they left them, with a lived-in, unstuffy feel. Outside, lush woodland gardens slope down to a boathouse on the River Dart, and the property is best reached, fittingly, by ferry or steam train.
