Jack Scout
Jack Scout is a small but special clifftop on the limestone coast south-west of Silverdale, bordering the vast Morecambe Bay nature reserve. Its calcareous grassland is exceptionally rich in wildflowers, with the bare limestone of the cliffs dropping towards the shore. From the open grassland the view sweeps out across the bay's tidal sands towards the Lakeland fells beyond.
