Glendurgan Garden
Glendurgan Garden tumbles down a sheltered valley to the wooded creek of Durgan on the Helford River. Planted by the Quaker Fox family from the 1820s, it is a riot of exotic trees, tree ferns and spring-flowering shrubs that thrive in Cornwall's mild air. The much-loved laurel maze, dating from 1833, draws children and adults alike, and the path ends at a tiny beach village by the water.
