Cadsonbury
Cadsonbury is an Iron Age hillfort set on a prominent hill near Callington in south-east Cornwall. Its single ring of bank and ditch encloses around two and a half hectares, with opposed entrances on the east and west sides. There are no traces of houses inside, suggesting it served as a stronghold or refuge. The climb is rewarded with sweeping views over the Lynher valley.
