Snowshill Manor
Snowshill Manor is one of the National Trust's most delightfully eccentric properties โ a Cotswolds manor house crammed to the rafters with the extraordinary collections of Charles Paget Wade, who filled every room with samurai armour, clocks, bicycles, musical instruments and craftwork from around the world. Wade himself slept in the garden cottage so as not to disturb his treasures. Set in the rolling Gloucestershire hills, the colourful terraced garden is a gem in its own right.
