Knowles Mill
Knowles Mill is a small ruined corn mill on Dowles Brook, deep in the Wyre Forest near Bewdley in Worcestershire. Dating from the eighteenth century, it worked commercially until the late 1800s and still holds its iron overshot waterwheel and gearing within the surviving stone walls. The mill sits among woodland and old orchards rich in wildlife, reached by quiet woodland paths along the brook.
