Crook Peak
Crook Peak is the sharp, distinctive summit at the western end of the Mendip Hills in Somerset, its conical profile visible for miles across the Somerset Levels. Despite its modest height, the climb rewards with wide views stretching to the Bristol Channel, the Welsh hills, and Glastonbury Tor on a clear day. The surrounding grassland is rich in limestone wildflowers and butterflies in summer, making it as much a nature walk as a hill ascent.
